Since 1958 Lordan's main market has been in developing heat exchange coils meant to sustain extreme environmental and field conditions. From freezing conditions in Antarctica to the sandstorms in the Sahara desert, and the humidity of the Amazon forests to the corrosive Coal Mines in Australia, to salty shores, arid climates and harsh mechanical vibrations, our custom made heat exchangers are built to deliver maximum performance, value and reliability.
Our highly specialized engineering team assigned to your project will work with you to come up with highly creative approaches in the design of your heat transfer technology.
A company that specializes in the rental of refrigerated vans and trucks. Locally based, and part of a well known European vehicle hire franchise.
Our client's goal is to deliver the highest standards of products and services in the rental and hire industry. Their vehicles and equipment have been carefully selected in order to provide their customers with the very best in quality, reliability and flexibility.
To control and monitor the transportation of more than one perishable good within a single refrigeration vehicle with multiple individually controlled temperature compartments, from the time it is collected until it reaches its final destination (e.g. meat, medicine, delicate flowers, and the like).
Lordan took up this challenge, fully aware of the extreme climate conditions in the country, which can reach above 45 degrees Celsius in the summer.
The ability to maintain the required cooling temperature for specific good was not the issue, rather, maintaining the levels of refrigeration and moisture while and following the doors of the vehicle being opened was the real challenge. Our long experience in working closely and discretely with our clients allowed our engineers to be part of the system's development process from the beginning, which helped us in the planning and manufacturing of the unique coils best suited for this case.
Lordan's engineers developed a system that permitted to return the temperature to the required specification almost immediately, without causing the product to be affected by sudden exposure to high temperatures entering the vehicle.
Our client can offer safe transportation of a larger variety of temperature sensitive goods to all parts of the country in all seasons including extreme summer conditions. This makes their services more attractive and competitive.
A manufacturer of air conditioning systems for public transport vehicles. Its goal is to provide the best in passenger comfort for trains and mass transit vehicles all around the world. With thousands of air conditioning systems fitted worldwide combining state-of- the-art equipment designs with quality materials, our client knows what it takes to deal with tough, variable and extreme environmental conditions.
Our client came to us to find a solution that would help them increase productivity through improved efficiencies in their high-speed rail business.
Our engineers viewed the clients request and came up with a solution that did not only improve productivity, supplying higher efficiency through enhanced fins and tubes, but also considerably reduced the size of the overall system.
In addition to a significant increase in the performance of the heat exchangers, a more compact design of coils was offered. This solution made possible a significant reduction in the number of heat exchangers per unit. Investment costs also decreased as a result of smaller, more compact systems. Additionally, operating costs were lowered due to efficient use of energy and reduced refrigerant. The new coil was strenger, considerably lighter, and provided higher output performance.
Lordan is constantly involved in an ongoing program with the client to keep improving the efficiency and size of their products.
